Adobe updates Connect Pro and will be adding mobile apps

Adobe has updated Connect Pro and added the ability to integrate telephony and VOIP with what they call "Universal Voice." This allows you to record audio with your mobile and add it to a web conference. You can also use your existing VOIP service to stream audio to web conference participants. Adobe seems dedicated to laying a groundwork for unified communications. They are developing their programs to support a vision of integrated data, video and voice in web conferencing. Adobe will soon have native mobile device applications to support Universal Voice. They indicate that an app for the iPhone will be the first developed with others to follow.
